Paso Espiritu was formed in 2008 by a group who enjoyed riding their wonderfully smooth, elegant Paso horses with their Spanish heritage, and wanted to share their enthusiasm and understanding of the Paso breeds with others. The team is unique in that members have varied riding experiences and they ride a range of Paso horses.

While several members have been on drill teams previously, this is the first time they have ever competed.

Paso Espiritu is proud to be a member of the Sunshine State Mounted Drill Team Association and has also attended several other drill competitions.

Currently, Paso Espiritu holds the following titles:

• 2009 Silver Sands Bridle Club Maiden Champion

• 2009 Silver Sands Bridle Club Open Champion

• 2009 SSMTDA Maiden Champion

The drill team practices weekly at Cherry Hill Hacienda in Ocala, Florida.
